Vision & Couch Ministries

We're Lovin' Vision

Vision is a place where God began to encourage our hearts to go after what He had for us. Pastors Don and Kay always do whatever they can to push us in our gifts and let us use our gifts. Also just being in the atmosphere where God speaks or His presence is free to move is awesome.

But the best thing about Vision is it's name. Vision is about encouraging people to go after their vision for what God has for them. It is a place of preparation to the next place God has for you. It is a place to hear a word from God.

I had the honor and privilege to serve under Pastors Don and Kay Couch as Associate Pastor and traveling assistant for over two years.  It was during this season that many seeds were planted within me to operate in the calling that God has for me. I had been given several prophetic words that I would prophesy, but I had never moved in that gift until I was mentored by Pastor Couch and the “mantle” of the prophetic gift was carried on to me, just as it was spoken many years before.

I truly believe God has called all of us to operate in the gifts, talents, and abilities that He has given us, and we all need a place to let those gifts, talents, and abilities be stirred up, encouraged, and released for the kingdom, and Vision Ministry Center is that place.

I love Pastors Don and Kay Couch with all my heart and I couldn't be doing what God has called me to do, without their leadership, encouragement, and blessings.

VMC has such a unique purpose in preparing people for ministry - not just the "typical" kinds of ministry like preachers and musicians, but also in educating us that we all have gifts and talents and need to learn there is a mission field around us no matter where we are.

Pastors Don and Kay truly do share in your visions and dreams and want to help you succeed. I challenge you to come and be part of an unusual learning experience - give us one Thursday night and we'll help change your life and ministry!

I was hungry. I was thirsty. I was desperate to see God do things out of the ordinary. Jesus fed me. Jesus gave me a drink. I have seen Him do things out of the ordinary. I attend Vision because the more I receive, the more I long for. The Lord never fails to renew me, refresh me, revive me. You never know what to expect. It's always something new!

Thank you so much for the lovely way in which both of you minister at Vision. It blesses me to worship with you and to listen to the nuggets of wisdom which you share with us. It is always interesting how God sets things in motion, as I had a standing conflict on Thursday nights for years, and had only recently resigned from this other obligation when I first visited Vision. I can see God's hand in this and look forward to learning and growing with you in 2009.

Vision has been such a blessing to me. I've come to love and appreciate the hunger and passion that all the attendees have on a Thursday/Friday night! When you walk into a Vision service, you find yourself expecting and anticipating God to show up! You feel as though you are in a room full of people who are pulling on the anointing of God. It's this atmosphere that has caused new songs to rise up in my spirit! It's this atmosphere that brings the miraculous! It is here that you hear God speaking so clearly. I am so thankful there is a place like Vision Ministries.

Darla Young ~ Praise and Worship Minister, 1st Assembly of God, Wagoner, OK

I started attending Vision over a year ago and ever since the first time I walked in I knew God was free to move in a really mighty way. It's a place that you can go expecting and be sure that you'll never be disappointed. Each service is different and unique in its own way. I now attend school in Texas and I really miss attending, but always look forward to when I can make it back up to visit. It's definitely worth the trip!

Pastor Couch and Kay...thank you for standing with me in prayer and for all the love and kindness you have shown me while being my shepherds at Vision. During that time, I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN IN SAFER HANDS UNLESS SITTING IN THE PALMS OF JESUS. I will still join you at Vision as I can. God bless you as you increase and as the Lord uses you as vessels to bring the body together across this state.

I love you so much!

Vision has been pouring blessings and God's unfailing love into my life since I started attending. Pastors Don and Kay have been encouraging, nurturing and living my dreams with me every step of the way. Their vision is YOUR vision and they want to see God's will play out in EVERYONE'S life! Vision is a place where God is real and tangible. The pastors know this and want to pour God's love into everyone's life as they share the good news. God bless Pastors Don and Kay and God bless Vision!!!

How is my local church affiliated with the Assemblies of God?

Within the fellowship of the Assemblies of God there are two classifications of churches - General Council affiliated churches and district affiliated churches. General Council affiliated churches enjoy full autonomy, having developed to the point of where they are self-governing and self-supporting. These fundamental principles have been catalysts for growth in the Fellowship. District affiliated churches are those which have not yet developed to the point where they qualify for full autonomy. All assemblies are required to adhere to the Statement of Fundamental Truths and a biblical pattern of conduct.  Learn More

What distinguishes the Assemblies of God from other Christian groups?

The Assemblies of God is an evangelic protestant fellowship that believes God exists in three persons -- the Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit. The most definitive identification of the Assemblies of God is Pentecostal. Just as it was founded in 1914, the Fellowship remains a full gospel church—one where the fullness of the Holy Spirit is welcomed, nurtured, and taught. This includes speaking in tongues as the initial evidence of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Other manifestations of the Holy Spirit embraced by the church include: messages in tongues with interpretations, prophecies, word of knowledge, and the complete gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit as indicated in the Bible. Among Pentecostal churches—the Assemblies of God is largest worldwide with over 52 million constituents.
